This Course examines the presentation of different types of physical and behavioral difficulties that interfere with normal cognitive, social, and emotional growth. The main focus of the course will be on the recognition of these difficulties, where to seek appropriate professional help, and how to work with children with special needs in the home and in the school.

(Cheating Policy)
Cheating constitutes academic dishonesty and, in general will be handled as part of the course grading process. Penalties may range from no credit for the assignment up to and including exclusion and/or an “F” grade for the course. As a general rule, I handle this on a case by case basis.

I am here to help you learn about child development and how important it is for our society. Our future depends on how we raise our children. There are a lot misconceptions about the topic. I will learn from you also. Helping each other is what learning is all about, below is an inspirational video that has a surprise ending.
